  1. Dear Lauren, is there an exercise/technique that will allow one to be in the "Now" without having to analyse/think of being in the " now" and act out of heart rather than head. Perhaps a way of turning the head/mind off? I find that meditation only helps temporarily. Thank you.

    Hi & thanks for your question. There are so many ways to practice presence but if your asking me, my favorite way is to engage in some form of creativity. If that is not possible or desirable, then using the body in any way can bring you to the present moment by grounding your energy in the lower (physical) realms. Whenever we are focused on...or paying attention to...thinking, we are fueling our thoughts which can make for overactive minds, so doing anything physical (gardening, exercise, dancing, house work, laundry, etc.) will help a GREAT deal.
